We are here to serve people committed to serving their communities, whether they are looking to run for state office, lead the fight for a local ballot initiative, seek an appointment to a government post, or run for city hall.
We are a non-partisan firm focused on delivering campaign wins to clients who share a belief in representative government whereby the interests of their communities outweigh special interests.
LVS offers turnkey services to candidates, PACs, and other advocacy organizations seeking to engage the electorate through grassroots identification, organization, and mobilization.
LVS was founded in 2013 by energy investor and social entrepreneur Bill Jones after he spent considerable resources analyzing campaigns that were successful despite being outspent by their opponents. In a move he sees as his civic responsibility, Bill used this information to build a team and design cost-effect strategies that he now employs on behalf of underdog candidates and causes who share a belief in an accountable, representative, and transparent government.
Bill turned to business and political operative James Barnes to help him organize a team and build the firm's operational capabilities. Barnes’ background includes extensive private sector experience with Bell Consulting and Lockheed Martin, as well as managing two congressional campaigns and serving as a member of the State Republican Executive Committee. Barnes serves as Operations Chief of LVS.
Austin – A new firm called Local Voice Solutions, LLC (LVS) has been launched that aims to change the dynamic in local and state elections by providing cost-effective grassroots assistance to candidates and causes that advance more representative local government. Founded by social entrepreneur and energy investor Bill Jones, the firm seeks to leverage its expertise in ground-game strategies on behalf of clients who have the desire to more effectively represent their constituents by engaging voters directly.
According to Jones, principled candidates who decide to run for office are faced with the overwhelming task of developing and executing an effective and efficient campaign strategy.
“While we don’t provide campaign strategies or traditional campaign consulting, we do provide a range of products and services that improve overall execution of the campaign plan, which thereby increases the odds of winning,” Jones said. “If a candidate is willing to invest the time necessary to engage their voters, we will provide the tools necessary to help them win an election. We look for aspiring public servants who enjoy talking with voters and put the interest of their communities ahead of all other interests.”
Jones says that their services will help clients run disciplined, research-driven campaigns on a limited budget, making it easier for candidates to run for office. “We like to support principled candidates who appreciate the importance of connecting with their constituents and are willing to put in the work to do it,” Jones said.
Jones turned to political operative James Barnes to help him organize the new team, and build LVS’ operational capabilities. Barnes’ background includes extensive private sector experience, as well as managing two congressional campaigns and serving as a member of the State Republican Executive Committee.
